[fusion_text]On 18 and 19 February the LED and Tourism Department of Hessequa Municipality hosted a 2 day social media training course for local tourism businesses. Fourteen delegates attended this fun and informative course to learn about the basics of social media for business and how to centralise their efforts, work on strategies, and use these free tools to promote their offerings. 

Despite a persistent internet difficulty (not ideal if you look at the type of training being hosted) the delegates learned a great deal and left the training inspired and eager to apply the knowledge in their businesses. It goes to show that no matter the amount of planning, there will always be an unforeseeable unforeseen. A massive thank you to Tamzin and her team for making it work under the conditions. To Jonathan and our IT department for lending us their mobile Wifi, and to the Kwekery for the venue and delicious food (know you guys will do great as the new owners) – thank you.
