[title size=”1″ content_align=”left” style_type=”default” sep_color=”” class=”” id=””]Jakkalsvlei Ent(wine)d Food & Wine Pairing[/title][fusion_text]On Saturday 30 May, Jakkalsvlei, who has become iconic in the Garden Route area and is synonymous with a good, all-rounder wine, hosted its first food and wine pairing evening. After the launch of the brand new, state of the art, tasting hall in December last year, the natural progression was to start including a unique dining experience to their repertoire.

The fast approaching Cape winter did not deter the 85 guests who came to enjoy the exquisite dishes of renowned chef, Thomas Potgieter. The evening included a range of foods, from oven baked fish, Thai green curry, beef & mussel timbale and beef fillet to mouth-watering Grape tiramisu, complemented perfectly with the best of Jakkalsvlei.

A unique food and wine experience, a huge success, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
