EVENT FUNDING FOR 2021/2022 FINANCIAL YEAR

HESSEQUA – Hessequa Municipality hereby invites the submission of applications for financial and/or non-financial assistance for hosting a tourism related event/festival during the 2021/2022 financial year (01 July 2021 – 30 June 2022).

This call for proposals is aimed at providing limited funding to events/festivals which require additional capital to establish and or to grow such an event/festival. The funding will be allocated in the form of a grant.

Hessequa Municipality will provide financial- and non-financial support, based on the following criteria:

– Seasonality of event/festival
– Localised job creation
– Marketing plan of the event/festival
– Utilisation of the media
– Tourism theme of event
– Applicant as a registered entity
– Completed Risk Assessment Form

NOTE: Incomplete submissions will be disqualified

Applications must be placed in a sealed envelope with the heading “Tourism Event/Festival Application 2021/2022” and submitted at any Hessequa Municipal offices across the region. Alternatively, application can be emailed to riaan@hessequa.gov.za

The closing date for submissions is 21 May at 14h00. Please note that late applications will not be considered.
