This historical route showcases historical gems like the Fourie House, Dutch Reformed Church, Old Post Office Building, Heidelberg Hotel and Brugsig.
The Post Office is one of the most photographed buildings within town and a popular visitors point for German travellers as the building is a replica to the one in Germany. This building was erected in 1936 and is located along Van Riebeeck Street.

– Starts along Van Riebeeck Street
– Turns up toward Murray Street
– Down along De Jager Street
– Down along Fourie Street
– Up into Eksteen Street
– Onto Rainier Street and
– Finishes down along Van Riebeeck Street
