The Eden Park 4×4 Sand Route in Jongensfontein, is approximately 6 km in length and of different levels of difficulty. There is the scenic loop, which is not too difficult, depending – of course – on the experience of the driver and the capabilities of the vehicle.
The sandy bowls (Speelgat) area is where the driver’s skills and the vehicle’s performance are really tested. This area has various gradients and angles of dip to challenge your skills – great family fun as well as a chance to discover the capacity of your vehicle! The sandy bowls is the ideal playground for travellers looking for an authentic, off-the-beaten-track experience.
Caution: this is an area where animals roam freely – please be on the lookout for them.
