Dave’s Kitchen is a restaurant that offers an “open view kitchen” dining experience that covers every aspect, incredible food, where everything is made from scratch, impeccable service and warm and cosy atmosphere. We serve different food from everyone else in town, and we make sure it is presented beautifully. We go far and wide to get special products like Crocodile, Duck and Ostrich. We strive to have a menu that can cater for all palates from steaks, pork belly, curries, seafood, home-made pasta, etc.

We are a husband and wife team. David, chef and owner, with over 20 years experience oversees all aspects of the kitchen, Mariella ensures that all the administration, ordering and front-of-house are running like clockwork.

In December 2024 we opened our second restaurant, Dave’s Kitchen @ Oudewerfskloof Olive Farm, with breath-taking views of the farm and Goukou River. The menu is a reflexion of David and Mariella’s heritage, boasting Lebanese and Peruvian inspired dishes.

While Dave’s Kitchen serves dinner and a daily home-made take aways, our second restaurant, Dave’s Kitchen @ Oudewerfskloof Olive Farm, serves breakfast and lunch through the week and Sunday lunches are very popular.
