Profile
Established in 1929, this one of the few remaining sand courses South Africa. Since 1935 the club competed for the Michalowsky Cup and the Daneel Cup later on, which the club won 3 consecutive years in the late 1950s. It was around this time that local player Tyn Sauerman rose to prominence after winning the St Dunstan competition in Mossel Bay. More recently, the famous Louis Oosthuizen can still be spotted around the club, enjoying the scenic 9 hole course that gave him his start on the world golfing arena.
