On Friday, 26 June 2026 Hessequa Protection Services and Hessequa Tourism in collaboration with Western Cape Provincial Traffic Services, Western Cape EMS and Garden Route and Klein Karoo Tourism hosted a joined road safety and welcome campaign along the N2 in Heidelberg.

The campaign aimed at road safety and awareness, also delivered welcome goodie bags to motorists. The goodie bags contained tourism information, refreshments and branded items likes water bottles, notebooks and eye masks.

As the school holidays are still in full swing, we welcome visitors and wish all the most enjoyable June/July school holidays within our beautiful region.
