The Hessequa region is proud to have set the seen for the adventure racing calendar for 2026.

The Hessequa Adventure Race hosted in Riversdale from 13-15 February 2026 was again a huge success and we look forward to being the host for many more races.

The mountainous terrain, outback roads and secluded farmlands in Riversdale makes for the ideal playground for adventure racing, highlighting the unique tourism profile of this town, which is guarded by the marvellous Sleeping Beauty Mountain Peak.

We thank the race director Alfred Thorpe, the wonderful sponsors, all the athletes and supporters for their part in the success of the 2026 edition of the Hessequa Adventure Race.
