[fusion_text]We’ve been visiting the local sawmill a lot lately. Nailing pieces of their popular 19 x 76 ‘rustics’ together to make frames. Why? We made a poster to highlight the importance of the regional visitor tracking (implemented by Wesgro) and to get businesses to help us complete them by pointing it out to their clients (say when they stand in a queue waiting to pay, in the rooms, with their menus, and other creative ways).

You see if we as the tourism industry of Hessequa can have data to highlight the trends, numbers, interest, etc. of visitors to the region, we have concrete information on black in white which can guide decision making and motivate when we ask for stuff. Like better signage for scenic routes and attractions, maintenance of public open spaces and parks, planting of trees, beautifying of town entrances. We could in fact move mountains. But it is only possible with your help to encourage your guests to quickly tick off the survey. Tonight we’re painting the frames we’ve made.
