Nona Rosa Bush Camp is situated half-way between Heidelberg and Witsand on the farm Nona Rosa, along the dry reaches of the Slang River.
The Farm is about 800 ha of which approximately 500 ha is used as agricultural land. The rest is untouched veld, kloofs and krantzes, valleys, hills and river with large water pools. The whole of the farm is available for exploring, by foot, mountain bike or 4×4 vehicle.
The campsite is very rustic and takes you back to peace, tranquility and quietness – ideal for the nature. Due to the type of terrain and farm roads, motorcars (very low vehicles) and normal caravans are not suitable. This campsite is ideal to be used as base camp for daytrips to other tourist attractions along the Explorer’s Garden Route.
