The Gouritz Lion, Bird and Reptile Park is located along the N2, 16 km outside of Albertinia, towards Mossel Bay at the Gouritz River Bridge. The family friendly facility was born out of passion and love for animals.
Gouritz Lion Bird and Reptile Park is home to a number of different animals which include Nile Crocodiles, various Snake species, various Tortoises, Macaws and many other birds, White Lions and White Bengal Tigers.
The Green Winged Macaw is native from South America and is considered an endangered species. The Park has a Green Winged Macaw named Sam.
The Park also offers a variety of special themed occasions each month – making it the ideal family friendly day visit venue along the Garden Route. The venue also has guides whom accompany visitors and share their knowledge on the environment and the animal kingdom.
