The Gouritsmond Camping and Caravan Resort is situated at the entrance of Gouritsmond and is a well maintained Municipal facility which offers camping plots – some grassed, all with braai facilities, electricity power points and clean ablution blocks.

The caravan and camping facilities is ideal for a family set-up with the majority of plots having shade supplied by trees. The grounds are well maintained, safe and the facilities are clean and the facility is close to the tidal pool at the beach – making this a paradise for the children. The resort has been the hosting venue for the 2022 and 2023 annual Whale Rally, where motorcycle enthusiasts gather over a fun-filled weekend programme.

Gouritsmond is a fishing mecca and the Blue Flag Beach and the Gourits River is a stones through away from the Gouritsmond Camping and Caravan Resort.

Please note that cash payment is only allowed for the payment of the key deposits and breakage fees.

The only methods of payment will be via debit card or electronically(EFT). This can be done at the various caravan parks or at the municipal offices during office hours. This is to combat high transfer costs of cash and for security risks.
