Explorers Garden Route
One of the oldest historical buildings in Riversdale, the original part was built in 1838 and used as a trading store. In 1860 the state purchased the building and turned it into a jail. Today you can enjoy delicious carrot cake here, as well as light meals, and browse the extensive range of antiques, gifts and plants in the old jail cells. Mon – Fri 08:00 – 17:00, Sat 08:00 – 13:00.
