Korentepoort Dam

People are always pleasantly surprised when they find this (relatively unknown) gem 16 km outside of Riversdale. The massive dam is popular among watersport enthusiasts (you can go waterskiing, windsurfing, parasailing, canoeing) and fishermen (bass-fishing). There are also some hiking trails that can be enquired about at the reception, as well as mountain biking that can be enjoyed through the Cape Pine plantation. Day picnics are very popular, with braai facilities available for visitors.

If you choose to spend the night, the resort has 7 well equipped self catering chalets. They have everything you need with 2 bedrooms rooms, a kitchen, bathroom, lounge and a outside braai.
